To ensure the best treatment, each patient is managed by a clinical team working closely with colleagues specialising in the radiology and pathology of gynaecological cancers. Alongside this we have a psycho-social support team consisting of clinical nurse specialists and psychologists.
The scope of our gynaecological cancer service includes screening and preventions and these services are provided by a familial clinic for those people who are at risk of developing gynaecological cancers and a colposcopy service to assess and treat women with abnormal smears.
